​What I had to do in a similar case (VARY command typos) was implement an
automated operations procedure which would check the operations, and
basically refuse to issue the commands if "bad". Unfortunately, I was not
allowed to use the message: ID10T GUESS AGAIN, CHUMMIE.​


​Before automated operations, this was just a rule ... enforced by a large,
hairy person with a bad attitude.​
