I would also look in the JOBLOG to see if there were any other messages.  But 
agree, the IDC3009I RC246 is an internal error.

Run a diagnostic against the ICF Catalog these datasets are cataloged in and 
see if there are any errors.

The ADR459E should also be researched
   For I/O errors, follow recommendations by your installation for I/O errors, 
and resubmit the job. For logical errors encountered in the VVDS, run access 
method services DIAGNOSE against the indicated volume, and take necessary 
action to correct the problem.
