The same manual used to have an example subprogram named BPXTTOD that did a time conversion in the opposite direction. When it stopped working at the same date (January 10 2004 13:37:04, correcting a typo in my previous post) the example was just dropped entirely from the manual starting with the z/OS 1.7 edition.
