Just because the work TAPE is used, does not mean it is really TAPE.  It is an 
esoteric


Second, are you the sysprog responsible for DFHSM support at your shop?

Third, have you done a list of the DFHSM Migration pool to see if it has 
sufficient space in it?

Forth, have you done a HLIST DSN(name goes here) BOTH  (Like getting all info 
not just MCDS or BCDS)

Fifth,  have you looked in the DFHSM Started task logs (running STC) and 
searched for this dataset name?  See if there are any associated ARC messages 
for it.  Look at the time you issued the migrate command for the dataset.

Sixth,  have you determined how much storage the current dataset on DASD uses?
