I've shifted gears and I am using IKJTSOEV, things are looking a little better. However, I received " IKJ56220I MAXIMUM NUMBER OF DATA SET ALLOCATIONS ALLOWED BY YOUR SESSION HAS BEEN REACHED, YOU SHOULD FREE UNUSED DATA SETS". In JCL I would use the DYNAMNBR, but for IKJTSOEV how would I set this? I have debugging turned on in the REXX and can see the failure is on an ALLOC command.
