While installing my (downloaded :-) ) serverpac for z/OS 2.3, I have noticed three problems (so far):
Datasets FFST.V120ESA.AEPWBENU and IOA.AIOAIBIN were both placed on my target volume instead of my DLIB volume. And SYS1.AUADS is in SMPE, but it is completely missing, even from the RESTORE job. (No, I did not modify them in the 'modify the layout' dialog!) So my first question is: Can I just carry forward the z/OS 2.1 SYS1.AUADS? Or would that be causing problems down the line? Is there ever maintenance applied to SYS1.UADS? And a second question: Is there a way to get the dialogs to restore everything uncatalogued to my target and dlib volume? I see that I can specify a volume parm where the archive is to be allocated, but don't know if that would collide with ENQs on same named active datasets (on a different volume).
