Good question. We use an ISV tool to scan production JCL before it moves into production, and are disallowing these JCL keywords. At this point we are disallowing this functionality in any PROD environment for this very reason. I never even looked in the manuals, but it would be nice to be able to enable/disable this functionality in its entirety via a PARMLIB setting.
