Except that now you can merely transmit the data to any other server to have it offsite. Having gone through all of the various gyrations over the years of trying to come up with ways to get the tapes off site, from paying a company to cart them away to the caves to transmitting tape-to-tape at another location, trasmitting the data from the back end to another server is (in my opinion) much easier.
