Thanks Mike and thanks to Allan Staller, I didn't see his response in my email but I wanted to thank him also - on fall back we do shut the systems down, wait an hour, mostly due to DB2, and some home grown applications that read SMF and cannot handle the overlap. I have no issues setting the STP on a Friday before a time change, this thing that has changed to much is the inability for 'operators' and I use the term loosely to read some procedures and issue 2 commands to shut the system down and bring it backup, but that seems to be the wave of the future, I know its not Friday yet but I had to vent... thanks again all
