The last time I did this exercise (when rearranging an ADCD system) about 4-5
years ago I fell flat on my face when I catalogued the sysres data sets on the
sysres I IPL'd from to use the qualifier &SYSR1.. The system didn't come up
because it found just about nothing. After staring at the manual for a while, I
read the manual that you *must* use ****** for all data sets on the sysres
volume you use to IPL. Sure enough, once I had recatalogued everything from
&SYSR1. to ******, the system came up.

Has that changed in the meantime? Are &SYSR1. and ****** interchangeable?

Regards, Barbara
