The biggest gain was using the environmental stem for bpxwunix that I implemented this morning after some testing. I will check out that bpx_shareas shortly as it sounds interesting.

The creation of the JVM was really heavy, so we changed java code to accept subcommand from stdin, "forked" it and communicate with the Ispf/Rexx code using pipes.
