You still need a surge protector for communication infrastructure; telephone line if you have a fax modem, cable, FIOS or whatever. When will the world go fiber?

Just installed a whole house surge protector as have Mitsubishi mini split AC which are rife with electronics plus protects all the other devices. Looking forward to a big surge!
