Anne,
Could you post a copy of your directory entry for DISKACNT ? at least the MDISK statements?

Well, the stuff was from a product we demo'd a while back and I don't need it. However, it seems like even though I put 100 cyl in DISKACNT's 191 A disk, it shows 400 cyl when I query the disk from MAINT. I assume this is because this particular bit of space was allocated as 400 cyl for that old product. Does that seem right?

You need to run DIRMAP from the CMS 190 disk to make certain that you don't
have an overlap somewhere. The easiest way to have DISKACNT "see" the new
disk is to log it off and then after the directory change is done, log back
on to it.
Be very careful. You could be writing on top of something else.
