Hmm. DIAG '64'x would return rc=174 if it were the paging i/o error. RC=203 indicates that you have attempted a function (a load in this case) and the virtual machine host primary address space was in the shareable state. OK I see it is due the fact your are running this virt machine v=r. You shouldn't see the 203 in a v=v ipl. So I don't think this an issue.

I think that the code 203 indicates  a storage problem but I am looking
now.

Does this give you anymore to point to?

I am being to suspect that the I MUST if done something but my logs do
not show it.
