Remove the volumes from XLINK_INCLUDE in SYSTEM CONFIG. Do not forget to protect the CSE area by a dummy minidisk so that you don't place other minidisk on top of it.

My problem is that, when I try to turn on CSE in the SYSTEM CONFIG, I get then get several of the following messages in the IPL: HCPLNM2880E MAINT 0190 is not linked, CSE LINK I/O ERROR, Code 02 The description of the error implies that XLINK FORMAT needs to be run on the device, but how do you do that initially, without the system running?
