AFAIK, when dump space would be full, CP would not restart itself after an abend.
But, there is also OPERSYMP that logs problems. With next commands, you can list symptom summaries. - VMLINK OPERSYMP 191 - VMLINK MAINT 193 - VIEWSYM (or is it VIEWSYMP?)
