Lionel, I don't think you want to use lpr in this case.  I think you
want to use SENDFILE fn fm ft TO TCPSMTP AT z/os_node, possibly with
some other options.  You also want to check if fn fm ft already has
carriage control and perhaps preprocess it if so to remove them.
