I am sorry to say I never made a 'VM Workshop" The company I worked for 
then participated in MVMUA, SHARE, and the IBM Tech Conferences but not 
the VM Workshop.  By the time I worked for a Company that did go to 
Workshop (in 1998) the last one had been held at MARIST.

This sounds vaguely like the old VM Workshops. I only attended four of 
them,
I think, but I learned a lot there and made lasting friends within this
community. Share and other conferences just aren't the same, and I've 
never
found another conference where you could fill a French restaurant with
balloon animals. :-D
