They do what they say on the box - they are a quick reference to get the installation under way. I have used the DVD reference for the last 3 "from scratch" installations that I have done (the first was an evaluation exercise of the process) and I found that they were accurate for the process I used and had all the information I needed for a basic installation. We have our own document on how to complete and customise an installation - but that comes after this. The one comment I would make that it is difficult with DVD installation because there are different flavours of the installation process depending on the facilities you have available - but this card does as good a job as possible of giving simple instructions for the main methods.
