You don't say what, if any, error message your os/390 TCPIP stack gets when it tries to initialize the interface. My first thought would be tha t you shouldn't use the PORT parameter on the DEFINE VSWITCH unless your OS A card requires it. If so, you need to make sure your os/390 TCPIP stack
uses the same portname in it's configuration.
