DDR does not use Diagnose x98; Therefore, there is no advantage. There must be some other reason those ids have that authority.

I see that TCPIP, TSAFVM and other IBM supplied userids have DIAG98 on the OPTION statement and that does not concern me. (I can say that IBM made me do it for those supplied userids.) However, I see that DIAG98 is also turned on my userid and on some userids that are used to copy fullpacks using DDR. Is there an advantage to have DIAG98 turned on to do full volume DDR’s?
