Alan, This just started happening with the upgrade from 5.3 0602 to 5.4 0902. Could there be a setting in TCP/IP?

That is the system *disconnecting* the user when they lost their telnet session. It's normal. If the timer was active, it would be nnnn minutes later that you would get USER DSC LOGOFF ...
