There is a VMFREM command.  I never had to use it.

VMFSETUP ZVM xxx
VMFREM PP ZVM xxx ( PTF  ppp
VMFBLD PPF ZVM xxx (QUERY    to see what has to be rebuild
VMFBLD PPF ZVM xx (SERVIVED   to rebuild what was changed

I don't know however  if PUT2PROD will help you to place the rebuilt items
in production, but I guess it will.

(note: VMFREMOV is for the pre-VMSES softwares, like NETVIEW and VTAM)
