The VSWITCH will not be defined if TCP/IP has not initialized. But the GRANTS should have no bearing on whether the VSWTICH gets defined or not. I do both my define and Grants in AUTOLOG2 in my case, and come up with no issues at IPL time.

Both work at IPL.
