Since CP is not actively using the volume, you should be able to 1. DRAIN it 2. DETACH it from SYSTEM 3. ATTACH it to yourself 4. Run CPFMTXA ALLOCATE on it 5. DETACH it from yourself 6. ATTACH it to SYSTEM 7.
