Comment #4 on issue 630 by takao.fujiwara1: "shift" key in ibus-anthy
http://code.google.com/p/ibus/issues/detail?id=630
But in kana typing mode, when I want to input "ぁ"(small hiragana "a") by
typing
Shift_L + 3, it turns into latin mode and results "#".
I cannot reproduce your problem.
My understanding is, you're talking the behavior of Shift_L in case of IM
on.
Shift_L, Shift_L + 3 outputs "ぁ" in preedit in kana typing mode in my env.
I have no idea why you encounter your problem.
- Set "jp" keymap in GDM login GUI.
- Enable "Use system keyboard layout" in "Advanced" tab when you invoke
ibus-setup.
- xev shows "3", "#", Shift_L
- Maybe screenshot is useful: gnome-screenshot --delay 5
