I don't understand your explanation, I am a native speaker, and this is the
way we
edit phrase in Chinese pinyin, it works in every Chinese Pinyin I have been
using,
Google Pinyin IME, Microsoft Pinyin IME, Sogou Pinyin IME, SCIM, Mac
Chinese IME...
and for the IBus we have today, use mouse to put cursor at the end of each
letter
also DOES NOT WORK either. for example, "导火线", you put cursor "导|火线"
you get
candidate for "dao" , put cursor "导火|线" you still get candidates
for "dao", put
cursor "导火线|", still get candidate list for "dao", so here we go again,
user can
not come up with their own customized phrase, input character one by one
will not
make that phrase cached in my dictionary next time. if I want my IME
remember name
phrase like "吴锦涛”， I can do that in all other Chinese IME, but with
IBus , I'm
out of luck.
