I am not very clear on why we can not use this way to edit phrase. I was
able to
edit long user phrases using other pinyin IMEs ( like Google Pinyin IME,
Sogou
pinyin IME, microsoft IME, SCIM ...) in this way, using left/right arrow
key to go
to the character need to be modified . I agree that we can use one-by-
one sequential way for character editing when enter user phrases. but use
left/right
arrow will allow me to skip the long phrase, go directly to the
character i want to edit. Ibus does not seem work in terms of traverse down
composing string with Chinese character segment. for
example in a long phrase like “数据库测试网页重新整理”, if the only
character I need
to comeback to fix before committing the entire phrase is "重", I can not
really do
this with Ibus,
but i can do this with all the other IME i mentioned. it is a convenient
way for
editting long phrase, will it be possible for IBus to has this feature?
