Input method name and version: Pinyin 1.3.10
Python version: 2.6.5
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Switch to Traditional (繁體) mode in Pinyin input method.
2. Try typing the following phrases, all of which are common in Traditional
Chinese:
What is the expected output?
裡面 (limian)
看著 (kanzhe)
台灣 (taiwan)
床鋪 (chuangpu)
為什麼 (weishenme)
What do you see instead?
裏面 (limian)
看着 (kanzhe)
臺灣 (taiwan)
牀鋪 (chuangpu)
爲什麼 (weishenme)
Please provide any additional information below.
While what it selects are all technically correct, these characters are not
commonly used. Taiwan is most commonly written 台灣 in Traditional nowadays
even though 臺灣 is also correct. The character 台 seems impossible to type
in Traditional mode even though it is acceptable now in Traditional
Chinese. Similarly, most people write 裡面 even though 裏面 is correct (but
obscure). 牀 is also obscure. 着 is plain incorrect for Traditional.
The way it is now, it's extremely difficult to type "like a normal person"
in Traditional Chinese.
