Chinese Mainland uses simplified which works fine. I'm pretty sure a lot of the above apply for HK as well. I should say that the old version of ibus-pinyin did amazingly well with the exception of the character 着 which is incorrect for traditional. It's only the new version that is selecting only the most obscure choices (and furthermore doesn't even let you type the common choices). Sounds like the old dictionary or simp/trad conversions should be imported back ...

Also, typing 'haha' gets converted to ^_^ instead of 哈哈 which is quite annoying.
