(process:15617): IBUS-WARNING **: DISPLAY is empty! We use default
DISPLAY (:0.0)
I guess you switched to a user likes root and run make check.
Probably you have no permission to open display and you cannot launch any
GUIs likes gedit with the build account.
But if you run make check, I think it's assumed that ibus-daemon is already
running.
So probably you don't have to run it in the build time.
It would be used for developers.
I hope you're no problem to close this bug.
