Logged in as a normal user, I did this:
1) tar -xzvf ibus-1.3.9.tar.gz
2) cd ibus-1.3.9
3) ./configure
4) make
5) su root
6) make install
7) exit
8) make installcheck
9) make check
10) /usr/local/bin/ibus-daemon
"make installcheck" returns no errors, only a bunch of "entering
directory..." "nothing to be done for..." and "leaving directory..."
messages.
"make check" returns the same errors as before.
"/usr/local/bin/ibus-daemon" returns an error saying it cannot
find "libibus.so.2" (attached)
