Comment #1 on issue 1447 by jjunho: ubuntu amd64: cannot use Korean with LyX http://code.google.com/p/ibus/issues/detail?id=1447
I have been trying to get around this problem and installed another keyboard mapping for Korean: han2 (m17n). It does work with LyX. The only problem is that now I can't type in hanja, the Korean Chinese characters (漢字). The keyboard han2 (m17n) only types in Hangul (한글). Still, it's a better situation than before.
So, instead of being an IBus problem, it's a problem with "Peng Huang <[email protected]> Korean Input Method".
