Ubuntu and its derivatives are still the main portal for new Linux users. However, there are several issues regarding ibus on Ubuntu.
1. Latest stable ibus is not available except on 12.04 http://packages.ubuntu.com/ibus 2. I'm downloading CD images of Lubuntu 12.04 and Xubuntu 12.04. I'd like to know whether ibus works well on alternative DEs.
