But I found the icons representing each IM are not hilightened or in
a "correct" position when I keeping meta pressed and pressing "space" to
switch IM.
I don't understand your problem.
Which desktop do you use?
If you use GNOME, ibus gtk panel is not used in gnome-shell mode but not
gnome-panel.
Probably it would be good to attach the screenshot.
