Comment #26 on issue 1617 by takao.fujiwara1: Add support for Wayland input
method protocol
http://code.google.com/p/ibus/issues/detail?id=1617
For input_method_activate(), try running clients/editor and click
near "Entry".
I don't understand what are clients/editor and "Entry".
I can type chars with weston-terminal but input_method_activate() is not
called in ibus-wayland.
I cannot type any chars with GTK applications with GDK_BACKEND=wayland in
weston and input_method_activate() is not called in ibus-wayland. I guess
focus-in events are not called with GTK applications.
I use gtk 3.9.8, glib 2.37.4, wayland 1.2.0, weston 1.2.0 .
For the license of input-method.xml, if it is MIT I don't see any problem
of mixing it with the LGPL code as they are compatible:
I know it but I thought if all files are LGPL.
If not, I think COPYING-MIT something needs to be provided.
For wayland-scanner.m4, it is still needed to build from git, where
wayland is not installed. We already do that for vapigen.m4.
OK, I see.
