New issue 1644 by [email protected]: Cedilla input does not work with
dvorak-br layout
http://code.google.com/p/ibus/issues/detail?id=1644
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
OS (Linux distributions, UNIX or ...): Arch Linux
Architecture (i386, x86_64): x86_64
IBus version: ibus-git 1.5.3.2449-1 (retrieved from git today)
Input method name and version: ibus-anthy 1.5.3-1
Python version: 3.3.1-1 and 2.7.5-1 (not sure which one ibus is using)
dbus version:1.6.10-1
dbus-python version:1.1.1-2 (both for Python3 and Python2)
gtk version (if bug is about gtk applications):
qt version (if bug is about qt applications): 2.24.18-1
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Using <'>+<c> to produce <ç> produces <ć>
2.
3.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Please provide any additional information below.
I use ibus to switch between anthy japanese input and dvorak-br input.
However, I can't input cedillas and all previous workarounds do not work
when ibus is running.
More information can be seen in this thread:
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/ibus-user/oXGATR_FM0I
I tried editing ibus/src/gtkimcontextsimpleseqs.h directly and recompiling
ibus as instructed but it still does not work.
I should also mention that I'm not using a pt_BR locale, I'm using
$LANG=ja_JP.UTF-8, if that makes any difference.
