Comment #6 on issue 1641 by [email protected]: [NewFeatures] Set up
default input methods and a keyboard layout at the first login
http://code.google.com/p/ibus/issues/detail?id=1641
On both GNOME and KDE, setxkbmap says
$ setxkbmap -query
rules: evdev
model: pc104
layout: jp
Just after ibus started, the engines list was as the following;
org.freedesktop.ibus.general engines-order
['anthy', 'xkb:jp::jpn', 'mozc-jp']
org.freedesktop.ibus.general preload-engines
['xkb:jp::jpn', 'anthy', 'mozc-jp']
But xkb;jp::jpn was not shown on the keyboard indicator of GNOME Shell.
Which is right behavior? Should xkb;jp::jpn be shown on the engines list?
or not?
I think it is not necessary because the xkb:jp::jpn can input latin
characters.
