Anthy and Mozc always start with their Hiragana mode while some users
report that they should start with their Eisu (direct input) mode.
My proposal is that ibus-daemon saves local mode of current (or all
preloaded) engine(s) so that it can restore previous mode(s) at the next
boot. Mac OS X also saves and restores a current pair of the engine and its
mode.
If initial modes of engines are permanently changed to Eisu, it causes
another problem for users who prefer xkb engines for direct input.
