Thank you for filing this issue. We may like the broadband feedback about
this.
After Issue 1659 is fixed, I'm thinking we don't need xkb engines for ja
and personally I think the initial mode can be Eisu mode permanently.
I use configure
--with-on-off-keys="'Zenkaku_Hankaku', 'Ctrl+space', 'Ctrl+J'" for
ibus-anthy in GNOME 3.8 or higher since GNOME 3.8 and IBus changed the
default trigger to Super+space.
I'm thinking if the ja mode switch can use Ctrl+space and swiching engines
does Super+space likes Windows 8.
I think this would be each engine issue and maybe I will move this category
to ibus-anthy later since here does not maintain mozc.
