I made fresh install of Ubuntu Gnome 14.04 and the problem still persist.
During the installation I select English language, but *only* Slovak
keyboard layout. After logging in, I have Slovak and English layouts
available...and again, it switches to English randomly...I never had this
problem with any distros before so I'm really not sure why it's ibus bug
or "notabug" - means it's a feature?
I tried your steps, ibus-setup opens window but you said "delete all ibus
engines"...I can't find anything like that in ibus-setup window
called "Ibus preferences". Could you describe what do you mean by ibus
engines?
