OK, do you see any errors when ibus-daemon runs with verbose option?
% ibus exit
% ibus-daemon --xim --verbose
Also are you able to reproduce your problem with a new user account instead
of the current user account?
Could it be a Python issue? Arch defaults to Python 3; that is,
/usr/bin/python is Python 3, not 2.7
It depends on the version of ibus-table instead of ibus-table-others and
comment #4 replied it.
