from Terminal I started up ibus-daemon with -v option and this is what I
get;
ibus_bus_call_sync: org.freedesktop.DBus.Properties.Get:
GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.Failed: No global engine.
it's telling me there there's no global engine, but that can't be because I
set it to ibus from the Language Support.
also I tried those commands you mentioned there, nothing seemed to of
happened, gedit opened with a new empty text field.
