What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
OS (Linux distributions, UNIX or ...): Linux Mint 16 (Petra) Cinnamon
Architecture (i386, x86_64): x86_64
IBus version: 1.5.3
Input method name and version: IBus-Anthy 1.5.3
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start ibus-daemon
2. Configure to use Anthy
3. Use hotkeys to activate IME over to Anthy and try typing something
What is the expected output?
I expect it to be able to type Japanese characters when using iBus-Anthy.
What do you see instead?
Instead I get none of that, IME doesn't switch and input stays the same.
Please provide any additional information below.
I have all the required packages installed for running IBus-Anthy for the
Language Support all that stuff installed, and enabled for iBus to be run
by selecting from the menu dropdown, iBus and Anthy itself WILL NOT
activate when I press the hotkeys to use it and can't type japanese
characters, and continues to use the same system language. This seems to be
Linux Mint specific, because I've never had this problem when I ran on
Ubuntu while running the exact same version and packages installed. It
completely ignores that ibus-daemon is running and that I have Anthy
activated. On top of that I cannot seem to switch the default input
language from ibus-anthy setup window as shown in screenshot. It says I can
move the default one up or down with the arrow buttons, but there is no
arrow buttons to move them.
