I just finished gutting the alcohol portion of the stove. I am planning on replacing it with propane burners, as I think the cost of a new stove can wait. Hope to have something put together in the next few weeks. Will keep the group in the loop as to my progress.

Looks like replacing it is going to be more difficult and/or more expensive than I would have imagined. What alternatives are there? I am going to have to replace the counter top so I suppose I could make a different size opening for a different size stove if that makes any sense. I am keeping my eye out on e-bay. Any tips?
