Have you looked at a composting toilet? Less weight. Less moving parts to break 
down. Less smell. Is very green, coast guard approved, and you need one less 
hole below the waterline. 

I haven't changed mine out yet, but I've done a lot of reading and for little 
cruiser\racer they are perfect. 

Airhead is the one that got my attention but there are a few to choose from 
with different price ranges and features, well differing designs.

I will be replacing the head in my 1984 and am looking at the Jabsco manual 
compact head (twist and lock), manufacturer #290 90 - 3000 at West Marine. Has 
anyone installed this model? and will it fit?
