Strangely enough, I don't get any mildew, and I don't have vents....

I also use the chemical anti-humidity crystals (in one of their vent containers in the head sink) It seems they move enough air and keep things dried out enough that we don't have the problem. This is easier than cleaning a window. Their non skid deck cleaner works almost as well. I am genially impressed. I have no connection to West Marine or these products but I wish I did.
