Since your post has gone unanswered for 2 days, I'll offer my $.02 opinion.  
"Size is much more important that type" 

So the real questions are: 
how much power do you need? 
how long do you want to go between recharges? 
how are you going to recharge?

As far as AGM vs conventional batteries, I think the key question is: Will the 
advantages offered by AGM's justify the higher cost?
