I just took my catalina out for her maiden voyage this weekend, and I had a few questions.
1. For those of you with the outboard set up (either in the cubby hole or stern mounted), how do you stear while backing the boat. I know with inboards trying to steer with the tiller is voodo. Can you steer with the tiller in reverse with an outboard? I have an outboard mounted to the stern, the only way I can steer the outboard is to lean over the back and pivot the housing. It is tough. 2. Does anyone know what the rigg tension is supposed to be on this boat. I have not run across much in the way of a rigging guide for this boat. Thanks.
