What about tacking does it make easier?

I've seen mid boom sheeting break booms in a hard gybe.
Mostly all new boats are set up that way because it gets all the gear out of
the way. Its your boat, do what you like.  I prefer end boom sheeting
because the loads are less and it puts the sheet right where I can
singlehand it easy. Its just a different of preference. If I kept my
Catalina I'd want to add end boom sheeting. At the least I was going to add
a ratchet block with a cam cleat and sheet directly from the traveller. I
really don't like the mainsheet sheeting to the winch. Let us know how it
turns out.
